| I just received this specimen of Acer Palmatum 'Samidare'. It reminds me of 'Hogyoku' in the leaf shape. I am interested how this specimen will turn out. It has a very nice low graft and is well branched so I am happy with it. Sorry for the blurry pics.

| Matt, I found this description on the web: "A round topped tree to approx 6 meters (20 feet). The new foliage is almost pink before turning rich green with reddish margins. The autumn colour are blends of gold and orange suffused with red." The pictures looked very nice. Nice sturdy leaves and firey fall colors. Looks like a very nice tree! K4 |
