I was visiting a friends house in pitch black darkness and their are two trees that I assumed were the same species or were identical hybrid Maples such as x freemannii. I haven't done any id looking myself.

I can tell you these two trees are extremely tall. One is in a thick habit of trees and has a tall but very narrow form. This one has bark that is reminiscent of shagbark hickory. That particular tree averages 75 feet tall as a minimum. The other I just grabbed a leaf from. That's photo #2.

The length of both leaves are respectively 180mm (9") and the other which is photo #2 is 210 mm (8.25").
