We have 2 Norwegian Sunset Maples in their second summer after planting in Fall '06. This year the leaves are much smaller than last year and the samaras have remained and are still on the tree. Other maples in our neighborhood have lost the samaras and look more full with larger leaves. Do you think we might have a problem? The trees are being well watered and were fertilized prior to new growth this spring.
