Looking for a nice japanese maple that does well in full afternoon and evening sun, and is tolerant of wet soil... would like to plant alongside a patio (which happens to be where the back-yard runoff is intended to flow (sub-surface perforated pipe, but the soil tends to be moist from the lawn irrigation nearby). Want red or purple leaves and 8-15ft mature height. Liked the Oshio Beni, Emporer and Bloodgood, but only Oshio Beni is listed as liking full sun. However, I've seen that the OB likes morning sun and afternoon shade (opposite of what we have), and do not know how well it does in moist soil. Recommendations needed! Thanks :)
