Tamukeyama or something else?

Hello JM lovers.

I'm getting ready to order my first JM, and I need your advice, please. From doing some research, A. p. tamukeyama seems well fitted to my zone and size requirements, but I'm not sure I want the "umbrella" shape for the location I'll be planting it in.

I'd rather have a 6'-8' tall, double stemmed, low grafted tree of upright branch shape, with red leaves. I have a design concept I'd like to adhere to. The tree will be about 8' from my east facing house, getting morning sun, and shade from 2pm onward.

Note, though this is my first JM, it probably will not be my only JM. I have lots of space for a collection. But being so close to my house, I'd rather this tree be self limiting in ultimate size. Though I'm willing to do some pruning for shape.

Should I go with the tamukeyama, or do you suggest something else for a solid Vermont zone 5a. And is it possible to request a multi stemmed tree from ordering online?

Thanks for your help.
