| As I am becoming more confident with some trees I am re-evaluating others. Here are some leaves from a maple on campus.
http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a386/sfhellwig/campusmaplesleaves.jp g I had previously written them all off as red maple because they weren't silver. But now I notice the larger red maple trees and their leaves look more like the Canadian flag maple leaf. So this brings me back to these other maples on campus. They are much smaller trees, several planted in a row. They are in heavy seed right now and would like to label them correctly. Surely not tridents, but am I missing another possibility? |

| Yes, Amur maple, Acer ginnala. |

| I just realized that I spelled that incorrectly. Only after making the same mistake and correcting it on another reply. Is there any way to correct the title for future searches? |
