Any idea what's happening to my Celebration?

The leaves started turning a few days ago (much prettier than I've ever seen in autumn BTW). Today it's almost fully turned.

It's been in ground for 3 years.

We've had a pretty dry spring & summer & didn't get much supplemental watering. I'm hesitant to blame it on lack of water since the top most leaves are still green.

It's in full sun (with some shade around noon).

It was sprayed a few times in July for Japanese Beetles. Though it didn't turn then, our Katsura tree did so we discontinued spraying.

This tree is about 30 feet from a Marmo maple which is in the same conditions but isn't turning color at all.

Last week the temps dipped quite a bit especially at night. In the past 2 days, we had the hottest days of the summer ( 90+ w/dew point 77).

Coincidently a hydrangea tree form is also turning. That was sprayed for JBs in July too but discontinued spraying once flower buds appeared.

I didn't fertilize any of our trees this year. They just got some dehydrated cow manure in April.

I have seen a few maples in the woods in our area that have also started turning.

Thank you in advance.
