Sapling maple tree developing yellow/brown leaves - need help!

I need some help diagnosing a maple problem. 4 days ago I purchased a red leaf maple (acer rubrum - burgundy belle) from one of the local nurseries. All of my other plants and trees that were purchased look fine, but this one. I planted it 3 days ago. last night I noted the leaves on the lower branches were discoloring - yellow / red / brown. Today, the leaf discoloration is progressing up the tree and the lower leaves are wilting and falling off. The tree has been watered at least twice a day due to high heat. Any ideas what is is and how to treat it? Thank you!!!

Don't know how, or where, you're watering, but the tree isn't getting enough of it.

Need to get water into the original rootzone.
To do so, you can build a 2-inch tall dike at the edge of the rootball, then fill the basin once or twice every day.

Hope you also pre-soaked the planting hole before setting th tree in place. And I hope you also made certain the rootball was completely moist at planting time.

If not, keep that in mind for the next tree you put in.
