| Anyone have any experience with acer palmatum Shirazz? Saw some at a local garden center and looks gorgious but with a hefty price tag. Im in zone 6. Winter? Sun? What think you? I have several other jms and all are doing fine in varying locations. Should I risk it? Thanks, Jack |

| This cultivar is still pretty new in the USA, it has only been here just over two years or so. What little is known comes from the New Zealand folks. It does appear to handle more sun than originally thought (Oregon conditions), but need to see how it holds up in harsher areas. Schmoo |
