Hello fellow maple lovers! I recently built and moved into a new home in northwest ga. I have about 20 potted maples that I have been growing for years and now that I'm settled into a permanent home I want to plant them. I see all these pictures on the Internet of beautiful maple gardens with all different varieties mixed with other conifers and shrubs. This is kinda blowing my mind on how I could plant these trees in my landscape and have it look good and be healthy for the trees. Any help would be awesome. Do I just start planting them and over time they will grow in and look good? Is there a method as far as planting certain colors with weeping and uprights? Please help.
