Beni kawa

Hi all,

I have a beni kawa we planted in our garden this past spring. I thought the spot was going to be more shaded than it is, and after our very hot summer this year in the PNW the BK is getting a little crispy from all the sun. Not to mention losing some of the beautiful red bark color. I've searched the internet looking for when the best time of year it would be to transplant it, but have not had much luck. I have a spot on the front/side of the house that has a lot less overall sun, I think it would be much happier there...

Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!
