| I'm in the process of clearing our "back 40" (more like 2.0, but who's counting) and found some very nice maple trees that I'd like to tap. Unfortunately, the most accessible has a poison ivy climber.
My question: As long as I don't do something stupid (i.e., tap the poison ivy), can I still tap the tree? |

| Jeff, Why dont you combat the ivy...and do the tree a favor? I dont know about the tap,im assuming you want to make syrup? |

| Yes, of course. But I'd spray or at least coat myself with Dawn Dishwashing liquid before I went into the battle with PI. |
