treat chlorosis myself

Jamie

An arborist injected our maple with manganese the last 2 springs, and it does help. I know it is not a permanent solution. The tree is near both street and driveway, so as time goes by it will only root out farther into areas I cannot treat. Nevertheless, I am not ready to take it down.

I wanted to try to inject the manganese myself, using the existing holes that the arborist made.

My question: Assuming I can find a product and a method that utilizes the existing holes, can I do this in the fall or must I wait till spring again? There is some amount of yellowing already even though it was treated in spring.
