| Hi,
I have 25 year old Red Maple growing in my backyard. I live in Eastern Kansas and I believe the cultivar is Autumn flame maple. This year we had a strong drought and the maple leaves turned yellow and dryed instead of there usual bright crimson, they fell prematurely, in July. I was really worried. We have a Pin oak and Black maple growing around them and nothing has happened to them. All the red and silver maples seem to be having the same problem in our neighborhood. I hope there not dead? |
