We planted this little beauty last spring (was about 55 inches tall and perfectly shaped) and it seems to like the spot, At this point it has shoots that have grown up to 30 inches in all different directions. It is awkward looking and I feel like I should prune sometime soon, before a freeze. It is in a protected space near the house, with morning sun, but our winters can be brutal. Any suggestions?
