Lots of things listed in D'sG but that doesn't necessarily make them so ;-) 'Barbara' is not a registered cultivar of Acer palmatum so not a huge surprise that there is little info on this variety or that is not widely available.

What kind of questions do you have about this tree?

I purchased two Acer palmatum 'Barbara' from a well respected nursery and received them today. I'm very pleased that I persevered and found this cultivar with the kind assistance from people on a UBC forum thread. Mission accomplished!

What is special about it that persuaded you to seek it out?
