My first thought was "Orangeola"...

The 'Orangeola' I am growing doesn't look at all like that.

I was thinking of redish maples with bright orange fall color...

A number of pics on the web show a similar shade (I'll link one.)

If it weren't for the reddish spring/summer tone I'd say the fall color looked like my 'Waterfall.'

I wasn't sure that the leaves were dissected.

I agree the color in your photo is similar.

My plant from late spring until late summer is evenly dull brickish red. Then in fall it colors red, orange, gold-ish. Grown in full sun, in a 5-gal pot.

Not my photo...just one I found on the web. I THINK the leaves are dissected in Randi's first pic...but it's hard to be certain. I think I have an Orangeola...it's either that or a Red Select. It was a gift and the tag has gone walkabout...and the people who gave it to me "can't remember." It's a new tree...and I was out of town for it's "fall show." :^( I'm hoping to get good pics next spring/summer/fall.

Pretty sure mine is labeled correctly. It came from Fairweather Gardens in NJ. We could compare notes in the spring. I don't grow 'Red select'.

I'd guess Orangeola as well. Of course people with an Orangeola that aren't coloring like this could be either a lighter graft, different fall conditions or different soil.
