It's a name of a farly new culivar and I have seen it sold a couple times on ebay as a new coral bark. I have no idea of how "good" it is and generally would sttay away from new introductions.unless you have "lots" of JM's , room, and like to try new cultivars..Of the three stick with the Fireglow although I have no idea how it will do in DFW others here will know but I assume "ok" ...If you go with sango kaku ( I won't even properly capitilize that piece of junk)...save you money and go see a psychatrist you would need one if you bought it and probably should see one if you consider it ;>)... I also don't know how well coral barks in general do in warmer winter climats as far as winter bark coloration when they loose their leaves which is the main reason folks buy them... I assume "ok" but not nearly as brilliant as it would in colder climates that seems to bring out the colors ...others here would know and I would personally be interested in the answer since I DON'T..David

In checking a bit further...it may not be "as" new as I supposed ...it is Red Wood two words ...the Eastwoods cd states that as in most red barked trees the older bark is not red or very red and this specific culivar is less red than many of it's cohorts on the older branches especially compared to the Beni kawa...grows in perfect areas 18-25 feet ... I wouldn't bet the farmm on that figure ;>) David
