i have found that it is often pretty still out in the very early morning making for a good time to get the plastic on. your wiggle wire system should make this go pretty smoothly for you. you going to take down the inner house before you put the film on the outer house?

I am planning on taking down the inner tunnel after I put the plastic on the big one. It will make it a little harder, but not impossible. Since the ground is not frozen and tilled inside I want to try to keep it that way.

All though, in a perfect world, I would prefer to pull the plastic off the inner tunnel and take it over to one side. Then pull the plastic over the bigger structure and be done with it.

I am using wiggle wire on the ends, but I am using two furring strips on the sides. It is set up for that and it is cheaper.

i agree with the cheaper part but i have found that there is uneven stress on the film which can and has caused some tearing. having said this, i too have a hoophouse that i am going to put up and use furring strips to save money since i already have the wood for it.
