market pricing for cut flowers and starts

flyingsquirrel

I've been working on farms and nurseries for several years and will be starting my own business this year. I'm eventually hoping to have a retail nursery, but will be focusing on cut flowers, vegetable/flower starts and potted herbs this year to make some money and contacts while I work on infrastructure and propagation/growing out perennials. I'll be growing hierloom varieties using oragnic practices and am wondering about pricing.

I plan on selling:

-vegetable, herb and flower plants in 4" pots, 6 cell packs, 12 cell packs, 3" peat pots, and some larger sizes all depending on variety

-cut flowers in mixed bouquets, plus glads and sunflowers by the stem

Any advice on prices, marketing and transportation would be great. Thanks.
