I am also buying a scale this year. Haven't purchased it yet but this looks like a good site. Now,what I'm concerned about is how to accurately add up the sales tab. I'm thinking of an adding machine.

After canvassing local market vendors & price-checking on the web, the best I could come up with was a "CAS SW-1-50lb (SW-20)" digital scale, available for about $200 from various web-based vendors. (I checked with Chatillon first, but they're raising all their prices due to increased fuel costs.)
