Has anybody tried any of these types of pots? I would like to use some, but don't want them falling apart as I have seen before. Any shared experiences would be appreciated.

looks good but a cheaper alternative is to buy a couple of different sized soil block makers and make your own blocks.

RE: biodegradable pots

These are very sturdy pots. When I was growing and selling for market I used 3 gallon pots for all my roses and 1 gal for clematis. At times I used some 4" pots for herbs. They don't say who their manufacurer is, but they look like they could be "Kord". Customers liked the fiber pots. They had great air circulation, but you'll have to keep an eye on them, because they dry out faster than plastic. Because of their sturdiness they don't break down in the ground fast, so tell your customer after they dig the hole, they'll need to cut off the bottom of the pot first, slice one side, place the whole pot into the hole, then shimmy the pot off, then fill in the hole. There is a lighter weight fiber that will last one season, and will break down nicely in the ground.
