I would, but I would also hold off more than 3 weeks. Are you selling the plants, or the fruits?

I don't have a lot of experience with tomatoes. I would stagger harvest by type of tomato. Extra early, early, main season and late varieties. That way you can plant them all at the same time.

Just some thoughts.

heirloom tomatoes I do succession planting at 4 to 6 weeks apart (unlike say, lettuce or spinach which are planted 7 to 10 days apart). the first plants ate started around April 1st to be transplanted around June 1dst. the second go round is started Mid May to be transplanted around July 1st (and no later than July 10th). Since most indeterminate tomatoes will produce for 4 to 8 weeks there is almost no reason to succession plant them except to have good tomatoes after October (and to do this they have to be in a hoop house).

We use to do an early planting starting the tomatoes March 1st indoors so they could be transplanted April 15th into a hoop house but we have had pretty bad luck with this-usually the hoop house tomatoes come in about 7 to 10 days before the main crop and the quality is often poor (small not great flavor). I suppose if we heated the houses this would change but than we start dipping into our profits.

Thanks everyone. I have about 20 varieties of seeds. I am hoping to have two plants per variety. Yesterday I planted one seed per variety and will take your advice and wait for about 4 weeks to start the next batch. We very seldom get frost so I am able to transplant sooner than alot of you but our fall can hit us quicker (rain) We converted a part of our basement into almost like a greenhouse with lights, fans and then we get the heat from the furnance. Wish we had the luxury of having an acre or more and not trying to think of more inventive ways to come up with space. I am just hoping to really get a jump start this season and get some well need money coming in.
