I just put my rowcovers down on Saturday. It was very easy using the wire hoops. I did a 250 foot row with my 9 year old in about an hour. We put the hoops in every 6 feet, anchored the plastic, put a rake handle in each end of the tube, and started walking. I then went back in put in metal staples to hold it down. I would not lay the row cover on tomatoes, it will break the them. Squash, cucumbers would be ok, not tomatoes. I hope this helps.
