Market Cancelled,......... so disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am suffering from extreme disappointment. The market that I would be atending as a vendor this year just sent out a letter that they would NOT be doing the market. I am right now considering calling the present manager and finding out exactly what it would take for the vendors to form a co-op of some sort to run this. Is any one a market manager that would like to add some input. I do have a farm stand of my own, so I still have a outlet for selling my produce and cut flowers, but I just thought the extra income to be helpful and a fun enviorment. HEIDI

Try contacting your local officials and maybe get permission to have a farmers market on a "green" or park area where there is some traffic. They may give permission to do it without any charge, and do it so that you make the officials look good by giving them credit, or getting press coverage so that their names are linked with the market.
