| I have grown tons of veggies and sold them and now i want to join farmers markets how does one go about that and what licenses are needed I live in upstate ny ty |

| You maybe required to have a "egg handlers license" and a "nursery license" if you are selling eggs and woody plants. Vegetable plants and produce, no license required in Washington State. Joining here is a simple exchange of money, no contracts. A Legal Scale is also required if selling by the pound. Eric |

| I would figure out the markets closest to you and give the co-ordinator a call. The NY Ag Department has a list of markets by county with contacts and dates. Find a good one and good luck. |

| go online and check out 'farmers markets, ny' and you may find some nearby. Each farmers market have different rules and regulations, besides the state regulations. |

| Every market has their own rules & regulations. In addition some states have rules to. I would check with your local Farmers' Market and ask them for rules & regulations regarding their market. Most are fairly lenient, but rules should be in place to make sure every one is treated fairly. |
