hello all

i am wondering if any one has a spread sheet or something they use to keep track of their flowers and plants they grow, being fairly new to this its a lot for the brains to remember, so a reference sheet would be a great help till i get some more experience as this is only my second year as a market gardener

thanks for any help

Hi buggsy! I don't use a spread sheet. I use 3x5 index cards. Every flower, herb, vegetable gets it's own card.Every thing is written on the card: where purchased, how many seeds/tubers, sowing date and tempuature, depth of planting transplanting dates ect... It is a very simple system, but it works for me. Good luck to you, Heidi

Hi bugsy,
You can go to the microsoft website and they have a template you can download for free.go to the search engine..type in templates and search for 'garden'.I just got off the site and they have alot to choose from.Or even try searching on 'google' for garden templates..they have everything from the index card look to actual layout plans.
Good luck.

Hi bugsy,
I use a table with six columns. Since I grow my own from seed or cuttings I list name of plant, sow date, transplant date, number of plants and information on propagation.
