How much okra

| I have grown okra before but not alot of it . I was wondering how much okra yall plant for market? I know market sales vary from place to place but maybe I can get an estimate. I haver several flats started but I am not sure i have enough. |

| Can't help you on this one. Okra tends to be kind of ignored at our local markets as far as I've seen. I've had more success direct selling to restaurants or in festival-booths. Ray |

| Just finished planting mine tonight. I will end up with about 65 plants for my first planting. Fifty plants, if grown well, will produce lots of okra. I'm planning on making a second planting in a few weeks/1 month to expand and extend my harvest, and I almost always sell out. |

| I find that you should be aboe to move about 50-100 pound a week. Therefore you need about 4-8 60 foot rows if you pick daily. |
