I would be worried about starting a fire but if it hasn't started one yet I guess you're good!

Are they in an area of your home where it is not as warm as the rest of the house?

magz88, they are in the basement where it is lately about 60 degrees all day and I hate running the expensive furnace unless I absolutely have to.

We found out that you can cut the rolls with a sawsall. We had some that were wider than what we needed, so we cut the entire roll with the sawsall. The edges sealed themselves and the blade didn't become too sticky either. Just thought I would share.
