need a little more info plz...

is the restaurant buying form you because they are looking for "locally grown potatoes" or are they trying to get a better price then there whole-saler??

are you washing them?
what size are the potatoes?? A or B's
are you diging them by hand??

we sell alot of Yukon Golds 50lbs for abought $20.00 all mechanically dug and washed.. if we dig them buy hand,wash, and size them the price is twice as much.

we sell to high-end restaurants that buy 50lbs of fingerling potatoes all dug and washed buy hand for around $100.00..they pay that much because there selling point is "locally grown"..

also small Yukon Gold Potatoes are worth more than the larger ones same with the reds..ask why? because there not making mashed potatoes with them..almost all the potatoes are going into specialty dishes..the smaller the potatoe the faster it cooks.. Sry NOT trying to sound like captain obvious..

question: where are you?? your not diging potoes this time of year?? here in New England we start planting next week..I hope....
