The last time I sold spinach, about 4-5 years ago, I got $8/lb and lettuce was $6/lb. Hope this helps. It takes alot to make a pound.

I asked on another thread, but what about tomatos, and heirloom pole beans, as well as various peppers and cukes for both pickling and eating?

I'm a newbie at this and would be selling out of my driveway area in a decent semi-country location.

Depending upon your area, it will be different. What I do is to check out the nearest grocery store's regular prices and then charge alittle more. This Saturday, I had some out of state Tomatoes that I sold for $1.75 per pound. I should have checked the store out before and I probably could have got $2.50 per pound. I sell my peppers individually, not by the pound, also the cukes. I also divide the 'pickling' sized cukes by small, medium and larger. Many people will want the same sizes for pickling, some people prefer small ones, or medium ones, or large ones, but not some of each.

What about a price for English peas?I checked out the grocery stores and none of them have the peas.Is anyone selling them now and how do you charge for them?Are they good sellers or not?Also onions,do you sell them one at a time and how much.They are the large onions not the small spring onions.

My English peas are very sweet tasting and I get between $3 and $5 per pound. They don't sell, for me, as well as the Snow Peas and Sugar Snap peas.

I have been selling spring onions for the last 3 weeks. Bunches of 6-7 larger spring have been selling for $1.50/bunch. I tried selling them last Saturday individually and they sold, but slower. I priced them at 20 cents each, but had to drop them to 15 cents each or 6/$1.
