i saw some farms selling micro mix in UNION SQUARE NYC and they are selling good.

in the case of union square, they just put it in plastic ziplocks.

i grow them myself and they keep for only few days if you wash them and dry them with salad spinner. so i would suggest, just wash them shorlty before you wanna use them.

as for the price, i think it goes as high as $ 40/kilogram

I am going to grow them inside in flats. I am trying about 5 different kinds to see what happens. One of the chefs I am working with mentioned that he pays $18/lb for micro celery from his wholesaler. I am also going to be trying corn shoots- my dh had some in a meal that he had at Flatiron restaurant outside of Boulder, CO and he loved their flavor! The chef mentioned that he had tried them before and that they need to take off the outer leaves since they are bitter but the stalk tastes fantastic. I will let everyone know how it goes...
