I'm planning to to an online class "Growing Plants for Fun and Profit. It is by Michael and Linda Harlan.
Wondering if anyone had taken course and your opinion of it. |

| If you just read GW forums every day you will learn 10 times more than that course will ever teach. Or get a good book on the topic. What do you want to learn and do. My opinion is that it is probably a waste of money. Get out into the garden and learn first hand. You can get good books on any topic. visit your library. You can buy most books used on the internet at big discounts. |

| I know this post is late msgaz but take gardendawgie's advice. No program is going to teach you hands on experience. You will learn more by going into your garden and observing things, then when problems occur coming to these forums and reading about them, then you ever will wasting your money on a course. There is no substitute for patience. Every day you will learn new things and you need time to assimilate them and allow them to become part of your knowledge. This won't happen with an online course but it will happen if you are out there observing and learning. Good luck. |
