Winter Squash after potatoes

I have a question to run past everyone. In my plan of plans for this garden season, version 9.0, after I dig my new potatoes, I was planning on going back in and planting winter squash, acorn, butternut, spaghetti. Most of them are 80-100 DTM. By this time in the year, most of our squash pests are gone. I am planning on getting them in by mid to late June.

Does this sound like it would work? I am growing them for our winter market and maybe some late October sales. I am also planning on transplanting them to ensure a good stand and to get a jump start on growing. Usually our first frost isn't until late October, but anything after the 15-20th is pushing it. Kinda weird to talk about frost when the temperature was 98 degrees today and 45 minutes away was 100!

Thanks!

Jay
