Using wheel hoes

Hi all,
just wondering how many of you use wheel hoes and how? I have only used them for paths, as most farmers I know would never walk on their beds. But if I decide not to use raised beds....

Do any of you use them for between row crops? How useful do you find them?

As always, looking for low-tech ways to keep the weeds down.

I have one I use for laying off some rows and for a bit of cultivating. I need to put a grass cutter on mine.

We find ours indispensable for cultivating between row crops and do so by turning the handle at an angle so the user stays in the aisle-way while hoeing

Thanks folks. Boulderbelt, this is something I've been thinking about. Wasn't sure if it was possible as most models I've seen have two handles and I thought they were fixed in position. Will have to look closer.

the handles on our Valley Oak are attached to a cube looking piece that has 2 bolts. One is in a hole and the other a slot so you can adjust the angle of the handles (and also so you can remove the handles in case they break and need to be repaired/replaced)
