What's the best way to hang support netting?

I'm using support netting for my cut/dried flowers to keep them safe from wind damage. Interested to know the best way to hang/attach it. Thinking of buying wooden stakes but not sure if that is the best way. My beds are 50ft long by 3 feet wide. Any direction would be helpful. Thanks, and happy gardening!!!

Wood will be about the lowest in cost. I had been using EMT conduit but 10' lengths have gone from $ 2.11 for the 3/4" to about $ 6.50. being galvanized they made nice garden stakes and supports and are easy to cut to length.

Paul----Wow! $6.50! I use the half inch size for staking and haven't bought any since early last year. I'll surely be disappointed if the price has increased so much. They are/were? a great product for staking.

I have a U-pick flower farm so safety is a concern for me so I support mine using a tinkertoy type concept of rebar and 4'x4' wooden blocks. Then I attach the netting with cable ties. Makes a nice support system. And no sharp pieces to impale my customers! (I have had a few customers that I would have like to impaled!)

I know what you mean about the price of steel --the rebar skyrocketed from last year! But --- I can't really increase my prices like that!!!
