At least it's not a tornado watch, but STILL!

Planted out 12 tomatoes today (half each of my determinates) since expecting T storms tonight and didn't want them to get broken. Sure enough, they called a Watch. So I'll put all my hardening plants inside for protection, Glad it was too hot to go pull weeds and start planting the indeterminates out back (I was going to wait til after the rain tomorrow any way so I won't have to water them as much, maybe just a quart per plant to settle it in, plus I have no way to protect 100ft long row).

But gee, when is this weather going to end? At this rate it will be July before I can get the tomatoes in! I'd at least like to get them growing before we get hail and high winds to break branches - at least then there's usually something to salvage.

We've been having July/Aug weather in May and June - after March weather in April!
