hot weather greens

I posted a message on the long 76 post hot weather greens and maybe noone has gotten to my last post yet so I am going to try to ask a couple of questions separate from that post. First of all I was wondering if anyone has taken Everett's idea and ran with it. It sounds like it has been sucessful for him. I was wondering how much of each of the seeds in the mix do you use? Is there some sort of percentage of each? How do you water the table by hand or drip and how often? Has anyone had sucess doing this with the hot weather mix?

Yes, Rita. IÂm trying EverettÂs suggestion and details of my progress are listed near the end of his thread. I donÂt understand your Q about how much of each of the seeds do you use. The seeds are mixed already. IÂm happy with it. I water by hand now that the plants are well up, but when they were seedlings I used a soaker hose a few times. I get about 40 oz of product if I harvest my whole 30" by 18Â bed at one time. RK

Which seed mix do you use? I read through the thread and was under the impression that Everett was still tweaking his mix , so I thought he had a certain receipe. Thanks

Rita, I first tried Asian Salad Mix from Nichols. Not happy with it. One yellow-flowered green that goes to seed way too fast and has to be pulled. Also trying Baker Seeds Siamese Dragon Stir-fry mix. Super happy with this one and will use again. And you are right, E is still tweaking, but thatÂs a ways down the road for me.
