An on farm meeting is planned at Bartlett Farm in Folsom, LA. The meeting will start with a tour of Bartlett Farm including demonstrations of handmade implements and organic farming methods. After luch sessions on new cut flower seed varieties, organic fertilizers and soil management, and propagation methods will be offered. An interactive discussion about scheduling cut flower crops for optimal production and harvest will involve all attendees. You do not have to be a member of ASCFG to attend this meeting and anyone interested in cut flowers is urged to attend for an awesome exchange of grower tips and interaction of growers from across the region.
Please contact Judy Laushman at ascfg@oberlin.net or phone her at 440-774-2887 for complete details.
