Turnip Greens???

| I now find myself in need of thinning my turnips out. I was thinking about selling them in bunches as turnip greens. I wasn't sure how big the greens should be for bunching.. I've used them for personal use at just about every size but am not sure how they should be bunched. Heidi |

Hi Heidi, I have been filling a 1 gallon plastic ziplock bag with the greens which are about 10-12 inches long. I sell the bags for $2.00 each and have had no problem selling them. I am in Kansas City. I use Seven Top type which doesn't make a turnip root (just greens) and they still haven't bolted. I've been cutting on them all summer. Tom |
