Cream pak carrots, thanks Madroneb

They are doing great, people think they are Parsnips. Been harvesting them for awhile, just never had my phone with me. I ran out of seed for this fall and ordered Yellow Pak by accident. Hope they are just as good.

Glad they're working for you Jay. I tried "white satin" which did great and are much faster maturing than I thought they'd be. I had problems with yellow-pak bolting under row cover in the heat of the summer, but you shouldn't have any problem in the fall. Also, I tried Johnny's "romance" this season and like it much more than "nelson" which splits too easily at full size.

I planted a 40 foot bed of the "Romance" carrots too. They were really good. They had a good crunch and a great carrot flavor that stayed with you, in a good way.
