| This last year was my first time selling and I did pretty well - over 1,200 pounds of tomatoes, 50 pounds of basil and other assorted herbs and vegetables. I also sold figs from two trees of mine. I find the quality and taste is highly superior to anything imported and few other growers around here in NJ can supply figs. My customers love them, though this year I didn't have nearly enought for everyone.
I have about two dozen young trees that will come into production next year and another dozen or so that I rooted to grow on later. My question is if anyone else out there is growing figs on a small scale, and how do you find it? Thanks for the info. Michael |

| One person sold figs at a market we go to, and she did great. At one point she was selling them for 25 cents each! |
