| I have aquired a older [50's]model two-wheel walking tractor with several pieces of equipment. I'm wondering if it would be useful in a market garden of 4 acres? It has a plow, disk, cultivator, harrow, 2 row seeder, one row seeder, potato and onion lifter, and sickle bar mower. If anyone has used one, please let me know. |

| is it a David Bradley? sears sold them in the 50's and 60's. is a good machine is great for keeping weeds under control cultivating single rows. the planter would be a great thing too. my dad had 0ne and we worked about 1 acre with it. likely will not bust fresh sod but once you get going you will be fine perhaps haing the acerage plowed and disced with a big tractor from time to time. |

| Thanks for your comments. Yes, it is a David Bradley. I have replace the tires since one of the old ones was split open. It has 30 inch diameter tires on 16 inch rims which gives ample crop clearance. |

That tractor sounds priceless with its attachments- do you know the modern equivalent comes from Europe (BCS or Grillo) and with those attachments would cost thousands? http://www.grillo-eurosystems.com/grillo.htm Please don't ever get rid of it without contacting me first! |
