Cult-a-eze

I would like to know if anyone has tried a push cultivator called a Cult-a-eze? It was made some years ago by Earthway(or Esmay at that time). It has a wheel in the front and has a smaller wheel in the back. The attachments fit on in between the two wheels. It was made of aluminum with plastic wheels. If anyone has tried one, I would like to know if they are worth using.

Johnny's Seeds has a similar arrangment called "Glaser wheel hoe". IT has various attachments sold separately.
Hope this helps.

RE: Cult-a-eze

never tried the cult-a-ese. I have a glaser wheel hoe that I love to bits. With a few attachments it cost $400. I bought it from peaceful valley farm supply. They offered it with metal handles, and Johnny's offers it with wood handles. your choice. But any wheel hoe is with the investment. You could find other brands of wheel hoes for about $200. Any modern wheel hoe is by far better than the the 1930's versions.

With the glaser, I can choose my scuttle hoe width. I have a 5" and a 7" and they make them up to 12" wide. And I interchange them to use in beds with close row spacing and wide row spacing.

hope this helps
