Do any of you grow this for a spring crop for market? If so, which varieties-- and how cold can it get?

I grow this for a spring crop but start it inside in Feb and transplant out in March for spring markets (they start in May). I have never heard of anyone overwintering broccoli for spring sales but it might just work

Used as a fall into winter crop here in Central Texas. Will handle into low 20's easy enough but this is home garden not production so I can't offer quanity differences. Packman and Southern Green Comet are most common here. Both offer additional side shoots to extend your harvest. Also used as early spring crop.

Kristenmarie,

I'm sure it's much too cold where you live to over-winter broccoli. Perhaps in a somewhat-heated hoophouse you might "get lucky".

How's "The Farm" working out?

Also in New Mexico,
