 o
source for 9 guage wire

I use 9 gauge wire to build hoops for row covers. Last year I bought a huge coil of it at a Southern States store for only $10 but they don't carry it anymore. None of the other farm supply stores I checked are carrying it. Any ideas who else may sell this stuff? Someone other than farmers must use this wire.

What about online retailers - or will shipping charges make it prohibitable.

Thanks

Check with your local lumberyard. If they carry fencing they will most likely have number nine wire.

#9 wire is used for suspended ceiling work, always in commercial buildings. If your lumberyard doesn't have it, check with other building suppliers such as drywall that deal mainly with contractors.

Lowe's sells 170 foot coils of 9 guage as a "chain link fence accessory."

Here is a link that might be useful: Lowe's
