Direct to Restaurant?

Just a mention: Last summer a co-worker was selling all the okra he could produce to a local Indian restaurant, for $3 or $4 a pound. Three deliveries a week and they kept asking for MORE!

He was also selling Armenian cucumbers to that restaurant, until they collapsed his trellis and he had to quit. Next summer he's going to do it again with a beefier support system.

I asked how he found the restaurant and he just walked in with the first few pods, introduced himself and asked if they wanted to buy, and how much they wanted on each delivery. they said "all you have and we'll tell you when it's too much". They never reached that point.

He never got past the first restaurant on his list.
