| Most doublefiles will fruit well without another to provide cross pollination, but the birds typically grab them all before they even fully ripen. If fruiting is a major concern, another cultivar of doublefile (not another 'Mariesii') will suffice. This question would have been better posed on the Shrubs forum. |
