| I was watching a tv program and dont know if this is fiction or true....is there a tree or plant called veritas...

| Veritas means truth in Latin. Never heard of a plant named that, though. |

| You must have watched the Good Witchs Garden. She had a plant called Veritas and anyone that stands close to it can't tell a lie. I can't find that plant anywhere |

| Maybe it's a code word for grapevine. Doesn't the saying go "In vino veritas" - "In wine there is truth" ; ) |
