on line classes

I'm hoping someone in this forum can give me some advice.

I am thinking of taking some on-line courses in horticulture. Does anyone in this forum have any opinions about where I could do this? Suggestions? Pros? Cons?

Thanks!
Dana

Dana,
I have not taken any of the on line horticulture class yet. I do have a web site that you can go to and check some out.I got the site when I was in the master gardening class. Hope it can help and let me know if there might be something else I can help you with.

Dana, I just completed one of the classes from the above site listed by gardenmaker79. It was The Art and Science of SmartGarden(r). I plan to do others as time permits. Would love to know of any other University offered online course if anyone can share.

Dtgardengirl, I am glad someone could use that web site. Did you enjoy that class? I have not taken any on line classes as of yet. I hope to be able to do that durning the winter months. I have been really busy doing the volenteer work and doing any education I can get for my Advanced Master Gardener. I do relize I could use this class toward it but durning the summer months I prefur outdoor things to do since summer doesnt last long enough.
